Organic Cabbage

Brassica oleracea var. capitata

Cabbage is a cruciferous vegetable, which means that it's high in sulfur-containing compounds called glucosinolates. These molecules have been studied for their potential to support healthy cell growth. Studies have shown that consuming raw cabbage may result in a higher increase in these beneficial compounds as compared to eating cooked cabbage. Cabbage also contains phenolic compounds that may act as antioxidants and provides fiber, potassium, and Vitamin K.
