Twix Donuts

  • For the protein cookie base: 1/2 cup Ora Chocolate Protein Powder
  • 1/2 cup coconut flour, 1/3 cup melted coconut oil, 2 Tbsp maple syrup or other sweetener Pinch of sea salt
  • For the cashew caramel filling:, 1/4 cup maple syrup, 1 tsp melted coconut oil, 1/4 cup cashew butter (could also sub powdered pb or other nut butter)
  • Pinch of sea salt, 1/4 tsp vanilla
  • Chocolate topping: Favorite chocolate bar/chips 2 tsp coconut oil


  1. Preheat oven to 325F.
  2. Combine all cookie base ingredients and mix until a dough is formed.
  3. Divide the dough amongst the donut pan.
  4. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until lightly golden.
  5. Remove from the oven and let cool.
  6. To prepare the cashew caramel filling, combine all ingredients and whisk until completely smooth.
  7. Evenly distribute amongst the donuts, covering the cookie base.
  8. Place in the freezer until set.
  9. Melt the chocolate and coconut oil together until smooth. Remove the donuts from the oven and divide the chocolate amongst them, covering the caramel layer.
  10. Place back in the freezer until completely set.
  11. Top with drizzled cashew butter and sea salt.
