I've purchased your product and take it occasionally when I think about it which is 4-5 days/week. I also cook with turmeric and black pepper frequently. Lately I'm reading about curcumin and bioavailability as well as the amount (in grams) needed to be considered an anti-inflammatory, and it makes me wonder whether you have any clinical evidence for this product's efficacy? Are you familiar with the NovaSol curcumin which supposedly has clinical studies to back up its claims but it also has polysorbate 80 in the one I've seen? And that's something I want to avoid. Would be grateful for your response. Thanks.

Hi Cynthia, Thanks so much for your question! There is no one proven dosage for this. There are studies ranging from 100mg to well over 1g (1000mg). Also curcumin is not to be confused with turmeric, curcumin is the actual active component in turmeric and the turmeric plant contains only a few percent of curcumin naturally, so eating turmeric as a food will give much less curcumin than a curcumin supplement (which uses concentrated curcumin extract usually over 80%).
