When we started Ora 10 years ago, our mission was simple: to prove that plants, science, and integrity could redefine supplements. We grew by earning trust one batch at a time, not by outspending others. And now, as we look to the next decade, we’re raising the bar again on every level, from what’s inside the product to the materials that hold it.

We’re now the first major multi-category supplement brand to eliminate plastic from nearly every part of our packaging system. That doesn't just mean jars and bottles - but lids, seals, scoops, desiccants, and even tape. Nearly every single component.


The result: aluminum tins and glass bottles sealed with custom aluminum closures, paired with plant-based, biodegradable scoops and natural clay desiccants.

This didn’t come easy. Every supplier told us it couldn’t be done - that plastic was “just how the industry works.” It’s cheap, stable, and convenient. We refused to accept that. We re-engineered our entire supply chain, designing new tooling, molds, and testing every barrier, seal, and stability factor until it matched or exceeded performance standards.


For us, going plastic-free wasn’t just about sustainability - it was also about health. With the growing flood of microplastics found in our food, waterways, and even our own bodies, we wanted to create a system that protects both the planet and the people using our products.

We're just getting started.

We're not stopping here. While we're immensely proud of what we've achieved with this huge reduction in plastic packaging, there are more innovations to come. There is a small amount of plastic in on the glass bottle seal, and a small removable plastic gasket on the aluminum lids. We are working on ways to remove those entirely - as well as exploring sustainable refill solutions for those that would prefer it.
