Certificates of Analysis
A Certificate of Analysis — a COA — is the report card for a single production lot. It lists what we tested for, the limit we set, and the result the laboratory returned.
Here's why that matters. The FDA does not review, approve, or test supplements before they're sold, and there are no federal limits for heavy metals in supplements. Most brands test only what's convenient, and most don't publish the results at all.
Under our 5 Nation Standard, every production lot is tested by independent ISO 17025-accredited laboratories before it's released, and we publish the certificate in full — usually eight pages or more, showing our limits and a pass or fail against each one.
We don't print "free of" on our labels. Trace amounts of naturally occurring elements exist in virtually all plant-based materials, and claiming otherwise would be dishonest. What we do instead is set strict limits, test every lot against them, and show you the results.
Your lot number is printed on the bottom of your tin, bottle, or bag.
