Can this be taken on an empty stomach? Other kinds I’ve tried made me nauseous after working out.

We recommend using the same personal guidelines you'd use for consuming a caffeinated drink, such as coffee - if you normally need some food before, that could be the best move for you. :) We recommend you take one scoop 30 minutes before your workout (or, if you’re like we are, enjoy it anytime you need a boost). Add a scoop to any amount of water and shake to mix. Because of the caffeine content, we recommend enjoying Renewable Energy in the morning or early afternoon.

Is this pre workout keto friendly? I see it does have coconut sugar, but what is the amount and the amount of total net carbs?

There is coconut water, but the amount included is low enough that there is only 1g total carbs per serving. With 1g of fiber as well, there are 0g net carbs in Performance Renewable Energy. From a sugar standpoint, this is keto-friendly! Please review the ingredients and compare them to your keto protocol to ensure it's allowed. :)

Will this keep me awake if taken later in day with the caffeine
