    Organic Tapioca Maltodextrin

    Maltodextrin

We use a natural water-based enzyme process to create tapioca maltodextrin from organic, non-GMO tapioca. We love this form of maltodextrin because it's unlike common forms that are made from GMO corn or wheat treated with heat and acids. Molecularly, maltodextrin is a polysaccharide made from naturally occurring starches in food. We use our tapioca version to help prevent caking in the process of forming the tablet.

    Vitamin B12 (as Methylcobalamin)

    Methylcobalamin

Methylcobalamin is the bioactive form of B12 that is used in the body. Many supplements use a form of B12 called Cyanocobalamin which the body still needs to convert to Methylcobalamin. It’s estimated that 30% of the population do not have the ability to make this conversion - making our Methylcobalamin a much more effective way to get your B12! We source our vegan and non-GMO Methylcobalamin from bacteria instead of animal sources.

    xylitol

    Organic Xylitol

Meet our tooth-friendly sweetener! Xylitol is a type of carbohydrate called a sugar alcohol, that occurs naturally in fruits and vegetables like strawberries, raspberries, mushrooms and cauliflower. The advantage of Xylitol over other sweeteners, is it is known to inhibit the growth of oral bacteria (mutans streptococci) in plaque and saliva which when not in check is related to a higher incidence of dental caries. Based on a large amount of scientific evidence both the American Dental Association and the FDA have recognized xylitol as beneficial to oral health.
